A little bit about me…
Currently living and working in Northern Virginia with my super witty, nerdy boyfriend and our uniquely creative, independent children, I have a full life — all created with the help of coaching, friendship, and faith in something bigger than myself.
I am an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) through the Internation Coaching Federation and I was trained in Ontological Coaching methods through the Accomplishment Coaching, Coaches’ Training Program, where I received 216 participant contact learning hours between August 2020-July 2021. I have been professionally working with clients since the beginning of training, but in practice, I’ve been a coach my entire life.
Originally from Santa Fe, New Mexico, I love art, nature, and delicious food — all things Santa Fe is famous for! I received a BA in Art History from Pitzer College in Claremont, CA in 2001. After planning for a career in Costume Design for film, television, and stage, I spent twenty years battling a completely debilitating chronic pelvic pain disease. Much of this time was spent developing myself as a writer, supporting my ex-husband in the creation of his career, and surviving each day as it came.
Divorce brought me freedom; friendship brought me safety, self-discovery brought me peace, and full recovery of my health. It is with deep gratitude that I now spend my personal time bringing light and love to those dear to me: my children, my partner, my friends, and my chosen family. The gift of health gives me the privilege of writing and coaching for the community that supported me - badass women+ devoting themselves to making the world a better place and everyone dedicated to doing the same. I’ve reached the level of freedom I always longed for, and I’ve done it with my sisterhood of uniquely capable, creative, kick-butt women seeking their highest and best!
My healing journey has taken me all the way to hell and back. The one takeaway I have is that I am fundamentally grateful for my life.
